2016 Vina Cobos Felino Malbec

There’s a real vibrancy to the colour of this Malbec displaying a midnight black core with a bright purple black tinged hue. The nose yields freshly crushed berry aromas of black cherries, liquorice and hints of blueberries over nuances of inky earth, vanillin cedar and spicy herbs. Medium to full bodied, fresh and fruity the palate sports flavours of ripe dark cherries, inky earth characters and subtle liquorice followed by traces of ripe blueberries, vanillin cedar and spice. Dry finish with a youthful inky like mouthfeel, bright acidity and fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of ripe dark cherries, liquorice, inky earth like characters, spicy vanillin cedar and dried herb infusions.
