2016 Villa Ponciago La Reserve Fleurie

Deep dark purple core with black tinged edges and a purple red hue. Fragrant violet and dark cherry scents laced with hints of clove and incense are followed by scorched earth and spicy dried herb notes. Light to medium weight, savoury flavours of spiced cherries, clove and earth flow across the palate with some dried herbs on finish. Slightly dryish but fine grained tannins and bright acidity with an aftertaste of cherries, spicy dried clove, earth and herbs.
