Deep dark red core with black tinged edges and a fading red hue. Fragrant rose petal, red cherry and dark raspberry scents intermix with dried herbs, crushed rocks and light spicy tobacco notes. Firm, rustic mouthfeel with red to black cherry and raspberry fruits underpinned by stern grippy tannins and bright acids. Scorched earth, minerally crushed rocks, tobacco and spicy dried herbs chime in on the back half. Dry assertive finish with a slightly chalky medium to long aftertaste.
