2016 Rymill The Dark Horse Cabernet Sauvignon

Totally opaque black colour with deep dark red black tinged hue. Slightly muted aromas of blackcurrant infused with black olive gradually emerge followed by cedary tobacco characters and dried herb end notes. Medium to full bodied the palate is filled with generous rich blackcurrant and liquorice flavours which run into black olives, toasty vanillin cedar and spicy tobacco characters. Dry, firmly structured tannins give the back palate a slightly chalky feel. Long ripe blackcurrant, liquorice, toasty vanillin cedar, black olive and spicy dried herb aftertaste.
Cellar 6-8 years.
