2016 Robert Oatley Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red colour with a black edging and light red hue. Fragrant aromatics of dark cherries and strawberries laced with a combination of subtle anise and a touch of meatiness flow through the olfactory senses with some spicy cedar also evident. Light in body with a very supple mouthfeel the palate features flavours of dark cherries and strawberries intermixed with some anise, toasty oak and spicy dried herbs. Silky smooth tannins. Slightly dryish on the finish with an aftertaste of dark cherries, strawberries, spicy toasted oak, traces of anise and subtle dried herbs.
