2016 Peter Lehmann H&V Shiraz

Totally opaque black dark red core with a deep dark red black hue. Prominent liquorice, black cherry and blackberry aromas lead the charge trailed by smoky vanillin cedar, fennel and spicy pepper notes. Full bodied, rich and fleshy in texture, the palate is packed with liquorice, luscious black cherry and blackberry flavours which sit over a back drop of smoky vanillin cedar, black olives, fennel and spicy pepper characters. Velvet like tannins yet there’s plenty of structure lurking beneath. Concludes with a medium to long black fruited aftertaste.
