Totally opaque black dark red core with a bright dark red black tinged hue. Intense ripe black cherry, blackberry and liquorice aromas meld into earthy incense like notes with some dried herbs and spicy vanillin oak also evident. Juicy dark to black raspberry and liquorice flavours are complimented by ripe, slightly chewy tannins with infusions of incense, dried herbs and spice also evident. Good fresh finish with a medium length aftertaste.
