Midnight black heart with a deep bright dark red hue. Ripe blackberry, dark plum and liquorice scents jump out of the glass followed by vanillin oak, hints of mocha and mint. Medium to full bodied with good flesh to the mouthfeel, expressive dark plum, blackberry and liquorice fruits show good freshness over a back drop of spicy vanillin cedar and mint. Fine grained tannins have a polished feel. Finishes juicy and fresh with a mid length aftertaste.
