2016 Lunaria Coste di Moro Montepulciano d'Abruzzo

Very deep black dark red core with a dark red hue. Ripe black and morello cherry as well as liquorice aromas intermix with toasty vanillin oak, inky earth and spicy dried herb notes. Full in body, rich black and morello cherry, black plum and liquorice fruits have a luscious feel, backed by plenty of vanillin oak, earthy dried herb characters and a dash of cinnamon spice. Ripe chewy tannins are largely concealed beneath the opulent black fruits. Long flamboyant aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
