2016 La Spinetta Langhe Nebbiolo

Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a brick red like hue. The nose takes on aromas of ripe cherries, rose petals, dried herbs, earthy leather notes and spice. Mid weighted the palate has delicious red cherry, red plum and red liquorice fruits sprawled across it which are backed by vibrant acidity and stern tannins giving both grip and freshness to the finish. Earth, dried herbs and spicy tobacco elements also chime in with a robust and energetic feel to the long elegant aftertaste.
