2016 Kumeu Village Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with a faint tinge of green around the outskirts and a watery hue. The nose exhibits fleshy white peach and nectarine aromas which meld into some citrusy dried honey and light bees wax notes. Fresh almost zesty flavours of ripe nectarines and subtle apricot intermingle with infusions of dried honey and ripe citrusy mineral tones. Vibrant, racy acidity on the finish with an aftertaste of ripe nectarines and apricot infused with citrusy mineral characters and dried honey.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
