2016 Howard Park Flint Rock Pinot Noir

Semi translucent bright dark red colour with a light crimson hue. Fragrant aromas of violets, ripe cherries and strawberries are followed by some delicate cedar and spice. Delicious, supplely textured flavours of ripe red cherries and strawberries are to the fore in this easy drinking Pinot with subtle meaty cedar infusions and spice also apparent. Soft fine grained tannins. There’s a vibrant feel to the fruit. Aftertaste of ripe red cherries, strawberries, a light meatiness and spicy cedar.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
