Brilliant pale straw colour with a very distinctive glimmer of green to the edges and a watery hue. Nectarine and dried honey scents intermingle with gun flint, biscuity oak, a faint whiff of grapefruit and spice. Medium bodied and refined with an elegant creamy feel the palate features fleshy peach, ripe nectarine and dried honey flavours over a back drop of subtlety toasted biscuity oak, nougat and traces of spicy, lightly roasted almonds. Well balanced acidity with a long aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.

Other Reviews….
Bin D668. While percentages are not known, comes from five regions - Tumbarumba, Yarra Valley, Margaret River, Adelaide Hills and Pemberton, and it's a balanced, ripper-of-a-blend. Heady with ginger fluff cake, lemon curd, oak spices figs and stone fruit, the palate unfurls with nutty leesy flavours, creamed honey, the very good oak adds another layer. There's a lot going on, yet not heavy, the acidity and some smoking match-strike sulphides keep everything reined-in. Drink by 2027.
