Matured for 18 months in new and seasoned oak. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red hue. The nose shows good elevation with ripe red to blackcurrant aromas subtlety overlaid by bay leaf followed by mulberry, dusty cedar and spicy herb notes. Medium to full bodied the palate is awash with rich red to black currant and mulberry fruits which show excellent concentration. Cedary tobacco characters, traces of dusty earth and infusions of bay leaf sit beneath. Finely detailed yet persistent tannins provide some light grip. Finishes long and refined with great depth
