2016 Domaine A Stoney Vineyard Petit A

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red hue. Elevated blackcurrant and dark cherry aromas sail out of the glass followed by vanillin cedar, liquorice, earth, tobacco, hints of leather and spice. The rich generously weighted palate is well endowed with ripe blackcurrant fruit which overshadows a back drop of vanillin cedar, dusty earth, liquorice and some leather. Spicy finish with dryish, slightly chalky tannins providing ample structure. Excellent depth concluding long, ripe and a touch grippy. A superb richly flavoured Tassie Cabernet.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
