2016 Brookland Valley Verse 1 Cabernet Merlot

Very deep dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Lifted red currant and mulberry scents converge with cedary tobacco characters, bay leaf and spice. Elegant, medium bodied flavours of red currant and ripe mulberry sit over a back drop of bay leaf, subtle cedary tobacco characters and spice. Slightly dryish but finely grained tannins are well integrated. Aftertaste of spicy red currants, mulberry, infusions of bay leaf and cedary tobacco characters.
Cellar 3-4 years.
