Totally opaque dark red black colour with a bright dark red purple tinged hue. Inky ripe blackcurrant and liquorice aromas merge with earth, vanillin cedar and spicy tobacco characters. Medium bodied, generous red and blackcurrant fruits decorate the palate over vanillin cedar, a touch of earthiness and dried herb infusions. Dryish finish with well integrated fine grained tannins. Concludes with an aftertaste of ripe red and blackcurrant, cedary tobacco characters and traces of bay leaf.
