2015 Vue on Halcyon Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot Cabernet Franc

Totally opaque dark red black colour with a dark red to brick red hue. Green bean, gurkin like top notes greet the nose with tobacco leaf, subtle cigar box and spicy herb notes also apparent. Medium bodied with a supple feel, initial red currant and mulberry flavours are overtaken by gurkin like characters, tobacco leaf and some herbaceous characters. Fine grained tannins with a slightly bitter gurkin tinged aftertaste.
