Matured in French oak barrels for 18 months. Opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of dried cherries, earth and spice are followed by dusty cedar and dried herb notes. Medium to full bodied the palate has rich dark cherry, dried cherry and blackcurrant flavours which overlay a back drop of dried herbs, dusty cedar and spice. Elevated acidity, dryish tannins and a medium length aftertaste. A big spicy robust Sangiovese.
