Semi translucent dark red colour with a crimson red hue. Aromas of ripe dark cherries laced with anise overlay toasty cedar and spice. Fruity ripe dark cherry flavours and a touch of anise are pursued by toasty oak and spice nuances. Relatively supple mouthfeel with good fresh acidity and velvety tannins. Concludes with spicy ripe dark cherries, anise and toasty cedar.
