2015 Terrazas de Los Andes Reserva Malbec

Excellent depth of colour displaying an inky black core with a deep bright dark purple hue. Aromas of ripe black cherries tinged with liquorice and incense infusions are followed by traces of earthy meatiness and spice. Medium to full bodied with ripe black cherry and blackberry flavours to the fore over some liquorice, earth, dried meats and spicy pepper. Dryish finish with solidly built, chewy like tannins. Excellent richness, length and concentration concluding with a long spicy aftertaste of black cherries, blackberries, earthy dried meats, liquorice and spicy leather. A rich, tightly structured Malbec with a chewy mouthfeel.
