2015 Stoneleigh Wild Valley Pinot Noir

Semi translucent bright dark red colour with a light red hue. Violet and dark cherry top notes are followed by hints of sour cherry and strawberry with some stalky cedar also present. The lighter bodied palate has some good freshness to it presenting an elegant and savoury flavour profile of spicy dark cherries and strawberries over hints of stalk and spicy cedar. Slightly dryish finish with fine grained tannins and bright acidity. Aftertaste of dark red cherries, a touch of meatiness and spicy cedar.
