2015 Penfolds Max's Chardonnay

Brilliant very pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. The nose opens with nectarine and grapefruit top notes followed by toast, subtle dried honey infusions and lemon butter end notes. Light and fresh with grapefruit and nectarine flavours to the fore over subtle dried honey characters and lemon butter with flinty mineral on the crisp dry finish. Light and very elegant with a crisp lean textural feel. Aftertaste of nectarine, grapefruit, lemon butter and mineral.
Cellar 3-4 years.
