2015 Heathcote Estate Shiraz

Impenetrable black as night core with a deep dark red black hue. Lifted aromatics of blackberries, black cherries and liquorice meld into some toasty vanillin cedar, fennel and meaty blackpepper. Rich luscious blackberry, liquorice and black cherry flavours are wrapped up in a tightly coiled mouthfeel, underpinned by vanillin cedar, scorched earth, fennel and blackpepper. Dryish finish with a robust, firmly built tannin structure providing some grip. Long blackpepper infused aftertaste of blackberries, liquorice, toasty vanillin cedar and dried meats.
