2015 Freycinet Louis Pinot Noir

Matured for 10 months in French oak. Good depth of colour displaying a deep dark red core with a dark red hue. Aromas of ripe black cherries and dark plum intermixed with anise overlay some meatiness and spice. Medium weight the palate has abundant juicy fruit characters of ripe black cherries and dark plum intermingling with some anise infusions over a backdrop of toasty oak and spice. Soft fleshy mouthfeel with velvety tannins. Medium to long aftertaste of spicy dark plums, black cherries, anise and toasty oak. A big juicy Pinot.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
