2015 Di Giorgio Family Tempranillo

Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark to brick red hue. Aromas of dark cherries and liquorice are overlaid by dusty vanillin cedar with spice end notes. The palate is ruled by a fairly hefty dose of vanillin cedar which tends to obscure the dark cherry and plum fruit. Some earth and light spice is also evident. Soft round mouthfeel with fine grained tannins. Moderate aftertaste of dusty vanillin cedar, dark plums, a touch of liquorice and spice.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
