Very deep bright dark red black colour with a bright purple red hue. Fragrant aromas of freshly crushed berries intermixed with some violets and liquorice are followed by confectionary end notes. Light to medium weight and juicy the palate has a fruity flavour profile of freshly crushed berries, subtle liquorice, pen ink, earth and spice. Dry inky finish with bright acidity and firmish tannins. Aftertaste of ink, freshly crushed berries, earth and spice.
