2015 Brancaia Tre Rosso

A blend of Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red hue. Lifted ripe blackcurrant and dark cherry aromas merge into earth and subtle cedary tobacco nuances with spicy dried herb notes ensuing. Medium to full bodied the palate is blessed with an abundance of ripe dark cherry and blackcurrant fruit which sits over a back drop of earthy tobacco characters, dried herbs and spicy cedar. Generous, yet elegant mouthfeel with fine grained, slightly dusty tannins. Aftertaste of spicy ripe blackcurrant, dark cherries, earthy dried herbs and cedary tobacco characters.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
