2014 Tar & Roses Heathcote Shiraz

Totally opaque midnight black dark purple colour with a deep dark purple hue. The nose offers up aromas of ripe blackberries, black cherries and liquorice over some subtle dark chocolate, vanilln oak and spice. Medium to full bodied the palate possesses plenty of richness along with a chewy finish. Generous flavours of ripe blackberries, liquorice and black cherries are dominate over some chocolatey oak and spice. Chewy fine grained tannins provide an excellent framework. Medium to long aftertaste of ripe blackberries, liquorice, subtle dark chocolate and spicy vanillin cedar.
