2014 Saint Clair Wairau Reserve Sauvignon Blanc

Brilliant water like colour with the very faintest tinge of green around the outskirts and a watery hue. The nose displays excellent intensity with aromas of passionfruit, herbaceous grassy gooseberries and fresh asparagus followed by some citrus, capsicum and light spice. The palate is reflective of the nose with vibrant herbaceous grassy characters, gooseberries and asparagus to the fore over some light capsicum and faint spice. Clean crisp finish. Long aftertaste of herbaceous grassy characters, citrus, asparagus, capsicum and light spice.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
