2014 Peel Estate Shiraz Cabernet

A blend of 60% Shiraz, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Tempranillo. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red black tinged hue. Aromas of liquorice and blackcurrant merge with vanillin cedar, hints of earth and spicy blackpepper. Medium bodied ripe blackcurrant and blackberry flavours combine with liquorice and spicy vanillin cedar over some light scorched earth and pepper. Bright finish. Fine grained well integrated tannins. Aftertaste of spicy blackberries, blackcurrant, liquorice, vanillin cedar, light earth and pepper.
