2014 Hugo Family Estate Shiraz

Totally opaque black as night core with a deep bright dark red black tinged hue. Pronounced ripe blackberry, dark plum and liquorice aromas fill the nostrils followed by some dark chocolate, vanillin oak and spice. Rich and plushly textured the palate is filled with opulent blackberry, dark plum and liquorice flavours which sit over some vanillin oak and spice. Silky smooth tannins concluding with a medium to long aftertaste of blackberries, dark plums, liquorice and spicy vanillin oak. A plush and rich, medium to full bodied McLaren Vale Shiraz with an elegant opulence to the mouthfeel.
