Opaque black red colour with a bright purple red hue. Aromas of liquorice and blackberries are overlaid by some inky earth like characters with hints of spicy vanillin cedar and pepper as end notes. Medium weight the palate has a youthful elegant feel with flavours of inky liquorice, earth, leather and spice present. Dry finish with the tannins having a slight firmness. Aftertaste of liquorice, inky earth, a touch of new leather and spice.
