Totally opaque black dark red colour with a very dark red black tinged hue. Aromas of liquorice merge with ripe black cherry and Morello cherry over some vanillin oak and spice. The palate has an underlying firmness and somewhat restrained inky mouthfeel with flavours of liquorice, black cherries, toasty vanillin oak and spice. Dryish finish with a firmly constructed tannin base. Aftertaste of black cherries, liquorice, toasty vanillin oak and spice.
