Opaque black dark red colour with a dark crimson red hue. Showing good intensity the nose reveals aromas of liquorice and ripe blackcurrants with overtones of bay leaf followed by spicy cedar end notes. The palate features rich blackcurrant flavours followed by some black cherries, a hint of tobacco and spicy cedar. Solid, slightly dryish tannins. Aftertaste of blackcurrant, cedary tobacco and spice.
