Opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of ripe plum, liquorice, vanillin oak and spice. Medium to full bodied with very good richness the palate has flavours of ripe dark plums intermixed with liquorice and a touch of dark chocolate over a spicy vanillin oak background. Soft round mouthfeel with velvety tannins. Aftertaste of ripe dark plums, liquorice, lightly toasted vanillin oak and spice.
