2013 Rutherglen Estates Burgoyne's Block Mourvedre Shiraz Grenache

Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Aromas of spicy dark raspberries, plum and liquorice are followed by lightly scorched earthy cedar. Plushly textured the palate has good generosity of fruit with flavours of spicy dark raspberries, dark plums and liquorice over spicy scorched earth and vanillin cedar characters. Low acidity and velvet smooth tannins make it quite a savoury drink. Aftertaste of spicy dark plums, liquorice, vanillin cedar and lightly scorched earth.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
