2013 Olivier Leflaive Meursault

As the largest village in the Cote de Beaune, Meursault has a winemaking history dating back to Roman times. Often seen as the richest and most rounded of the main white appellations in Burgundy, there are still stylistic differences across the large area.

A very mild hint of reduction still allows the notes of roasted nut, acacia blossom, citrus rind and various white orchard fruit scents to be appreciated. The agreeably textured, delicious and relatively generous medium weight flavors culminate in citrusy and persistent finish that is not especially dry.
