Opaque black purple colour with a bright dark purple hue. The nose is a touch restrained with aromas of freshly crushed dark cherries and liquorice emerging over some inkiness and spice. Medium bodied the palate features generous but youthful flavours of dark cherries and fresh plums over a background of inky earth like characters and spice. Slightly dryish finish with fine grained tannins and an aftertaste of dark cherries, plum and inky spice.
