Excellent colour saturation displaying a midnight black core with a bright dark red black hue. Lifted ripe blackberry and liquorice aromas are followed by black cherry, a light smokiness and confectionary. Medium to full bodied the palate features rich blackberry, black cherry and liquorice flavours with some vanillin confectionary and blackpepper following. Slightly dryish finish with fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of black cherries, liquorice, vanillin cedar and blackpepper.
