Totally opaque black purple colour with a dark purple red hue. Aromas of ripe blackberries, liquorice and dark cherries are followed by some subtle smoky cedar and spice. Medium to full bodied the palate possesses joosy fresh blackberry and plum flavours followed by some liquorice, vanillin cedar and spice. Soft round mouthfeel with velvet smooth tannins. Aftertaste of fresh blackberries, plum, liquorice and spicy vanillin cedar.
