2013 Brokenwood Cricket Pitch Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz Merlot

Very deep dark red black colour with a dark red hue. An amalgam of ripe blackcurrant, liquorice and plum aromas are followed by some dusty vanillin cedar with spice end notes. Soft and fleshy in texture the medium weighted palate has savoury flavours of blackcurrant and plum with a touch of liquorice also present over a back drop of subtle earth and spicy cedar. Velvet smooth tannins. Aftertaste of blackcurrant, plum, a touch of liquorice, vanillin cedar and spicy earth.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
