2012 Veuve Clicquot Vintage Rose Champagne

Pours with a buoyant pink tinged mousse, the salmon pink tinged base finely threaded by a persistent stream of tiny bubbles. Aromas of raspberry and winter strawberries are apparent on the lifted nose followed by yeast lees, light ginger and chalky mineral notes. The spritely palate has a racy, airy like feel with flavours of raspberries and creamed tinged strawberries melding into yeast lees, citrus and chalky mineral characters. Dry vibrant finish with a stimulating and layered aftertaste.
