2012 Valdipiatta Vino Nobile de Montepulciano

Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark brick red hue. The nose exhibits aromas of ripe black cherries and dried cherries laced with earthy leather and spice. Medium bodied the palate has flavours of ripe black cherries, dried fruits and subtle liquorice over some earthy leather with a spicy finish. Drying, slightly firmish tannins impart some chewiness. Aftertaste of black cherries, subtle liquorice, leather, earth and spice.
Drink now before the fruit fades any further.
