2012 Tridente Tempranillo

Superb colour saturation displaying an inky black core with a very deep black dark crimson red hue. Intense liqueur like aromas of ripe black cherries, cassis and liquorice waft from the glass followed by some vanillin oak and spice. Ultra rich and decadent the palate delivers a super concentrated flavour experience of black cherries and liquorice over some earth, cedar and spice. Solid firmish tannins buffer the huge core of fruit and provide some grip on the finish. Excellent depth with a long liquorice, black cherry, spicy vanillin oak and earth aftertaste.
