2012 Rocland Duck Duck Goose Shiraz

Opaque black dark purple colour with a dark purple red hue. Lifted liquorice and ripe blackberry aromas are followed by some dark chocolate, vanillin oak and spice. Rich and plushly textured the palate possesses dark chocolate and liquorice flavours with a strong vanillin oak overlay that is a little too prominent and persists right through to the finish with some spice also present. Soft acidity. Velvet smooth tannins with an aftertaste of vanillin oak, dark chocolate, liquorice and spice.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
