2012 Lou Miranda Estate Old Vine Shiraz

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Heady aromas of liquorice, dark plums and ripe blackberries waft out of the glass overlaying smoky vanillin oak, fennel and spice. Rich, opulent and silky smooth flavours of liquorice, dark plum and black cherries caress the palate with underlying nuances of smoky vanillin oak, fennel and spice. Very polished velvet like tannins. Excellent power with a long conclusion of liquorice and dark plum infused with fennel, smoky vanillin oak and spice.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
