Very deep near opaque dark red colour with a tinge of black around the edges and a bright dark red hue. Lifted aromas of blackcurrant and ripe dark cherries are interlaced with some cedary tobacco like characters and spice end notes. Medium weight the palate possesses good generosity within an elegant structure displaying flavours of blackcurrants, mulberries, cedary tobacco and spice. Dryish finish with very fine grained well integrated tannins. Medium to long blackcurrant, cedary tobacco and spice aftertaste.
