2012 Lindemans Limestone Ridge Vineyard Shiraz Cabernet

Matured for 18 months in a mixture of seasoned and new American and French oak. Opaque black dark purple colour with dark purple hue. On the nose blackberry aromas intermix with blackcurrant followed by some liquorice, subtle vanillin oak and spice. Full bodied with superb richness the palate boasts opulently textured flavours of ripe blackberries, blackcurrant and liquorice followed by some vanillin oak and spice. Excellent power with velvety polished tannins that are seamlessly integrated with the fruit. Long aftertaste of ripe blackberry, blackcurrants, liquorice and spicy vanillin oak.
