2012 Jean-Max Roger Cuvee G.C. Sancerre

Brilliant pale straw colour with a watery hue. The nose presents a delicate aromatic profile of herbaceous gooseberries and some grassy asparagus characters over some dried herbs, citrus and wet stone. Light and elegant flavours of herbaceous grassy characters, fresh asparagus and citrus grace the palate followed by some lightly spiced dried herbs and stony nuances. Clean dry finish with well balanced acidity. Aftertaste of herbaceous grassy characters, asparagus, citrus and wet stone.
